Kyiv Service was started in central New Jersey in 2012 by two brothers who had spent years working as HVAC and plumbing technicians for other companies. They named it after the city their family came from, and started with two vans, a storage unit of parts, and a handful of restaurant clients who needed someone who would actually answer at night.
Those first clients opened new locations, and asked us to follow them. That is essentially how the company has grown ever since — a regional restaurant group took us into Ohio, a retail chain into Virginia and the Carolinas, a property manager into Chicago. We open in markets where our clients need us, hire local technicians, and hold them to the same standard as our first crew.
Today we dispatch technicians across nine states and handle thousands of work orders a year, but the model has not changed: answer the phone, show up when we said we would, fix it right, and document the work.
We self-perform the core trades — HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general repairs — rather than brokering everything out. Self-performing means we control quality, response times and pricing, and our clients are not paying a markup on a subcontractor they have never met.
Where a job genuinely calls for a specialty trade, we use a small bench of partners we have worked with for years, and we manage them so you do not have to.
